Kavanaugh Clerks: He’d Be Another Great Justice

Democrat Delays

Senate Democrats should stop playing politics on Kavanaugh
What’s really going on is that they hope to delay the confirmation vote past the inauguration of what they hope will be a new, Democrat-led Senate in January, so they can reject the nomination outright and demand a Trump nominee acceptable to Senate Democrats – in other words, the kind of nominee who would have been sent up by Barack Obama.

A Moment of Honesty From Chuck Schumer: Document demands are in bad faith
“On July 10, the morning after President Trump nominated Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said he’d oppose the nomination “with everything I’ve got.” If the weeks since are any indicator, we should believe him.

“… Presumably, Mr. Schumer announced that he would oppose Judge Kavanaugh’s nomination before he read the judge’s 307 written opinions and the many other opinions he joined.

“…It stands to reason that Senator Schumer wasn’t too concerned about Judge Kavanaugh’s record before he announced his opposition. Why is it so important to Senator Schumer now?”

While Republican Senators sing Kavanaugh’s praises, Democrats prepare to grill him
Since being nominated July 9, Kavanaugh has met with 47 senators — all but one of them Republican — at a rapid clip. The meetings have created growing momentum for Kavanaugh among Republicans that Democrats may be hard-pressed to stop. Even one early skeptic, Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky, is now a yes vote.

Support for Kavanaugh Continues to Grow

WATCH: New NRA Ad Campaign Urges Supreme Court Nominee Brett Kavanaugh’s Confirmation
“The NRA strongly supports Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the U.S. Supreme Court because he will protect our constitutional right to keep and bear arms,” said Chris W. Cox, the NRA’s top lobbyist. “It’s critical that all pro-Second Amendment voters urge their senators to confirm Judge Kavanaugh.”

Conservative women in Missouri support Kavanaugh. Will Senator McCaskill listen?
Senator McCaskill will get a second chance to do right by Missourians with the recent retirement of Justice Anthony Kennedy. Will she listen to Missouri, or will she continue to do what her party in Washington dictates?

Former Senate Foreign Relations Staff Director Lester Munson: When it comes to Supreme Court nominees, Brett Kavanaugh has the right qualifications
“Judge Brett Kavanaugh is one of the most qualified individuals ever to be nominated to the Supreme Court. He has demonstrated integrity, influence, and experience in his twelve years as a judge on the second most powerful court in the land. On top of this, he authored over 300 opinions while on the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals. Kavanaugh is a graduate of the prestigious Yale Law School, served as an associate counsel to the White House, and as a law clerk to Justice Anthony Kennedy.”

“…The argument from Senate Democrats is not only unreasonable, it is inconsistent.

“… Even though Justice Kagan had no experience as a judge, the Senate did not demand her Solicitor General documents. There is no precedent for these delaying and obfuscatory tactics.”

Columnist, Ken Blackwell writes that Kavanaugh is the “good umpire” the Supreme Court needs
“Just like Neil Gorsuch before him, it’s clear that Judge Kavanaugh will make another great justice, one who will protect the constitutional rights of all Americans.” – Ken Blackwell

Former Kavanaugh clerk, Zac Hudson reflects on why he will be an excellent addition to the Supreme Court
“My experiences in the years since my clerkship have only brought into focus some of the qualities that will make him an excellent Justice. After clerking for the Judge, I went on to clerk for the U.S. Supreme Court, where I saw first-hand the importance of building consensus through one’s force of reasoning and clarity of thought. His will be a voice that is respected on the Court — and indeed, to date, the Supreme Court has already endorsed his positions, often articulated in dissents or concurrences, on a remarkable 13 occasions.”- Zac Hudson
